A roadside stall in Petaling Street that serves the favorite charcoal wok-fried Hokkien noodles with 60 years of history. Mr.Lee Heng Chuen, 56 who currently head of Kim Lian Kee with 2 branch of Kim Lian Kee (in Hutong, Lot 10 and Petaling Street shop lot) and the main branch (the roadside stall in Petaling Street)
Lee who learnt the art of the wok from his late granduncle, Ong Kim Lian, who came from Fukien Province in 1927. This is the business of fourth generation. The taste of signature dish Hokkien noddle with charcoal fire definitely different cooked with gas. According to Mr.Lee, the trick to cook with the delicious taste is to 'catch the fire' with the method of how to wield the spatula, the way of to see if the wok is hot enough and method on stirring everything together. Combination all the method will enable the flavors to seep into the noodles.
After get to know the history of Kim Lian Kee. My dearest colleagues recommended the signature dish in Kim Lian Kee Hokkien noddle (Hokkien Mee).

It's a lor mee. Best to served with vinegar. It's taste so good.. yummy :)
Beside fried Hokkien noddle, another delicacy foods in Kim Lian Kee - Fried Kuey Teow.
Just a few minutes, all the foods in table was finished up. Both my colleague look so happy and satisfied... :)
