Nancy's Kitchen Secret Recipe on making a Pai Tee - Top Hat.



Nancy's Kitchen have been known as the famous of nyonya foods restaurant not only keep recommended by many famous blogger and also Malaysia Food review site. It's also recommended by "The Star" paper - Food section on 4th March 2000.



Since that many of bloggers and journalists have been wrote about Nancy's Kitchen. I do not think that I need to blog the same thing about what other bloggers and journalists have been posted. 

During my visit to Nancy's Kitchen, I have given an opportunity to view on the process of making Pai Tee - Top Hat. Do you know what is Pai Tee (Top Hat) ? It's one of famous dessert in Nancy's Kitchen Food's Menu.  

What is Pai Tee - Top Hat?

It's neither long hat or short hat. Yes, it's top hat with shaped cone filled with vegetables




How to make it ?





Step 1 : Take out the ready make hat shaped cone from the container. Ingredient for the hat shaped cone: Sugar, honey, flour and white egg. It's like a biscuit and it's crunchy. 






Step 2:  Filled up with slices of cucumbers






Step 3: Then, filled up with braised "seng kuang" (known as yam bean)





Step4: After that filled up with eggs.



Step 5: Together filled up with crunchy fried onion.





Step  6:  Put a bit of special nyonya chili's sauce on top. (It's optional and depends if you love spicy)



Step 7: Last but not least, if you love to have the spring onion, you may request to add more on top of Pai Tee. 


Step 8: Finally, Pai Tee ready to be served together with my ordered of Sour plum juice. 


These delicacy nyonya dessert make my lunch perfect.... Ah !!! Feel so satisfied.
