Each of us has our own unique character. Our mind and soul is the most powerful tool to strengthen our spirit. We are born to encounter different segment of life's challenge but different challenge handle it with different way. Willing to taking the challenge needs a very brave mind and souls. Some might be afraid and choose to ignore the reality.
Just like Grace Hopper said:
A ship in port is safe, but this not what ships are built for.
When we faced with a challenge, many of us try to look for a way out but not a way to handle it. This is the weakness happen which can defeat us but not amend us.
This stories goes to a guy, which I knew him almost 10 years. I first met him via messenger chatting. His childhood’s memory is not a usual normal children’s childhood memory. He knew how to cook and take care of own self when he is in 5 years old. He is a very independent guy. His parent was a hawker that they were busy with their own business. He has stop schooling while he in form 3. His family life changed after found out that his father have a cancer. His brother has to stop his degree and flew back to Malaysia. Since then, his family life is changed. Last few years he’s father passed away while he is working at other country. I still remembered that time he gave me a called with a very depressed voice said that he can’t going back to Malaysia to see his father. His father’s last wished to see him will never come true is his most regret thing in his life. His hard work seems nothing on this few years. He told me that he’s life never had a good luck life. Whatever thing he wanted to do never successful but his unsinkable soul has inspire him not to give up. I believe he will be successful man.
Yes, some things have changed in his life, I thought to myself. But some things would always be the same, which will be his mind and soul.
Nothing can stop the man with right mental attitude from achieving his goal; and nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude. The only person that can help is our own self.
I believe our inner spirit of handle will be the same. The same formula works in every aspect of life. Everybody’s worth something so do you and I.
